Thanksgiving thoughts

God's Word tells us to "be thankful in all circumstances."  This week we find ourselves in the midst of Thanksgiving week and we really have a lot to be thankful for indeed.  The Thanksgiving dinner at church was crowded with many friends and lots of new friends too.  The food table was packed with the most delicious foods ever tasted by any taste buds.  And to think that most of us get the chance to join family on that special day to do the same - eat, eat, eat some more.  The holidays truly are special times and leave us with grateful hearts through and through.

May we give thanks for every bite we eat, for every family member (even the odd ones...), maybe a chance to get out and do a little hunting, a good football game (Lions?), and just for some good times and good memories which will be made.  God has blessed us.  I truly hope you experience those same blessings and give Him thanks in these circumstances.  Blessings!
